Dr. Ali Elhajj is a dedicated physician with a diverse and international medical background, bringing a unique blend of expertise in both family medicine and emergency medicine. Driven by a growing interest in the intersection of oncology and acute care, Dr. Elhajj completed a fellowship in oncologic emergency medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His work reflected a commitment to continuity of care, preventive medicine, and high-quality acute care delivery.

He is joining our clinic and Lakeridge Health to continue his practice in both family medicine and emergency medicine.

Dr. Elhajj is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and brings a wealth of experience across multiple healthcare systems to his role. His interest includes comprehensive family medicine, paediatrics, geriatrics, preventative medicine, cardiovascular health, and he is also experienced in joint injections.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Rizwan Alidina has joined our medical team. He will start to see patients on both sites, VMG and TMG, starting April 14, 2026.

Dr. Rizwan H. Alidina is a dedicated and experienced family physician. He has more than 20 years of clinical experience in a wide range of hospital and community settings, including internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, palliative care, anaesthesia, and emergency medicine before focusing on family medicine.

Dr. Alidina has special clinical interests in chronic disease management, cardiovascular health, anticoagulation management, preventive medicine, weight loss and the care of patients with complex medical needs. He is also experienced in joint injections and has an interest in pain management based on his earlier training in anaesthesia and palliative medicine.

Dr. Alidina speaks several languages including English, Swahili, Gujarati, Urdu, Hindi, and Kutchi, allowing him to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Unlike traditional ambulatory blood pressure monitors that use external tubing and bulky equipment, our new WBP-02A wearable monitors feature a compact, tube-free, all-in-one design that allows patients to continue their normal daily activities with greater comfort. The lightweight device is worn on the upper arm and automatically measures blood pressure throughout the day and night, providing your physician with a comprehensive picture of your blood pressure patterns over a full 24-hour period.
