Counselling That Fits the Problem
Psychotherapy and social work at Victoria Medical Group are provided by Ms. Zahida Janmohamed, MSW, RSW, a registered social worker and psychotherapist with more than twenty-five years in healthcare. Crisis intervention is a particular strength.
Ms. Zahida sees adults for concerns such as mental health, family conflict, grief, and substance use, and she works closely with seniors. As a social worker, she addresses both sides of a problem: how a person is feeling and the practical supports that can relieve some of the pressure.
Counselling is available to adults 18 and older. Sessions are not covered by OHIP and are $120 an hour. To learn more or ask about availability, call (416) 609-1100.
