Dr. Amirali Janmohamed

Dr. Amirali Janmohamed earned a medical degree at Aga Khan University, then completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowships at the University of Toronto and Cardiac Electrophysiology training at St. Michael’s Hospital. A general and invasive cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist in practice since 1999, Dr. Janmohamed serves as Medical Director at Victoria Medical Group.

Dr. Janmohamed’s practice covers the full range of cardiac care, from palpitations, irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias), and fainting (syncope) to the risk of sudden cardiac death and the management of pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Janmohamed gives priority to patients with a personal or family history of arrhythmia, and works to pinpoint the cause quickly, so treatment can start right away.
