Dr. Amirudin Mewa

Dr. Amirudin Mewa completed a medical degree with honours at the University of Saskatchewan and trained in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at McMaster University, with double American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Mewa served as Head of the Division of Rheumatology at the Holland Orthopaedic and Arthritis Hospital.

Dr. Mewa provides consultation and ongoing care for adults with rheumatic disease, and referrals from community physicians are welcome. Dr. Mewa has spent four decades in the specialty, developing a trained eye for the early signs of progression and adjusting treatment before lasting joint damage sets in.
