Dr. Rahim Valani

Dr. Rahim Valani is an emergency physician and medical educator, certified in emergency medicine by both the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP-EM) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCP(EM)). Dr. Valani also holds a Master of Medical Education, an MBA from the Wharton School, and a Master of Laws in health law, and has taught across several of Toronto’s universities.

Dr. Valani draws on more than twenty years in emergency medicine and teaching, which built a calm, decisive style that helps patients get the right treatment quickly. Much of that career has gone into training new physicians and leading clinical-quality and patient-safety work, and Dr. Valani brings that same careful, methodical approach to each patient visit. Dr. Valani is also a Transport Canada Civil Aviation Medical Examiner (CAME), certified to perform aviation medical examinations for pilots.
