Dr. Rizwan Alidina earned a medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Leeds School of Medicine in the United Kingdom, completed postgraduate training in general practice, and holds Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Before focusing on family medicine, Dr. Alidina spent more than 20 years working across hospital and community settings, including internal medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, palliative care, anaesthesia, and emergency medicine.
Dr. Alidina’s special clinical interests are chronic disease management, cardiovascular health, anticoagulation management, preventive medicine, weight loss, and the care of patients with complex medical needs. Experience with joint injections and an interest in pain management build on that earlier training in anaesthesia and palliative medicine. Dr. Alidina sees patients at both the North York and East York locations.
